Vent Grille - Black

This is replacement vent grille or vent grill for your microwave. You will find the grill vent either above or below the microwave door, depending on your model. If your vent grill is discolored or cracked, or if the mounting brackets for the grill are broken, you may need to replace the grill. If your light bulb is burnt out it will need to be replaced. Before you change the bulb, be sure to check that the light socket still works, as it may need to be replaced as well. This part is the replacement base plate trim, also known as the front décor for your microwave. It is gray in color and is approximately 30 inches long and 1 ½ inches wide. The base plate trim forms a decorative edge along the front of the base plate. The main reason to replace the base plate trim is if it is damaged or missing. Thermostat

The thermal fuse, also known as a safety thermostat, protects the oven range from overheating. If the oven range overheats, the fuse is blown to cut power off to the oven range. Once the fuse has blown, the oven range will no longer heat and the fuse will need to be replaced. The thermal fuse measures approximately 1” and can also be used in a microwave, check your model number. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the appliance before starting the repair.
