These agitator directional cogs are commonly referred to as dog ears. They come four in a package and are usually used with direct drive washing machines. When the teeth on the outer edge are worn down the cogs will not engage with the upper agitator, causing it not to agitate properly. It is recommended to replace all four at the same time. These agitator directional cogs are ?-inch high and 1-inchlong and they are a genuine OEM part.

This is a replacement clutch assembly or cam kit for your washer. The clutch assembly is mounted on the drive shaft on the bottom of your washer. You may need to replace the clutch assembly if the splines on the clutch assembly are stripped and the washer is making noise, or if you are having problems with the wash and spin cycles. You will need to access the bottom of the washer for this repair. It is easiest to if you disconnect your washer from both the water and power source, and lay it on its back. The clutch assembly contains 6 parts, and all are included with the kit. It is also important to change out the entire assembly, rather than individual pieces.

This agitator repair kit is used to move the upper agitator and connects the base of the agitator with the agitator top mover. The kit is most commonly used if the top part of the agitator is not moving correctly but the bottom portion is. If your washer will not agitate or is noisy, you may need to replace the kit. The kit includes a medium cam, agitator dogs, bearing, thrust bearing washer, and a dust cap seal.
