The rack adjuster connects to the dishrack and is used to change the height of the rack. This kit includes the parts to replace the left and right-side rack adjusters and has been upgraded to a more durable metal design. This kit includes 2 adjuster assemblies, 1 left-hand and 1 right-hand actuator cover, 2 gray adjuster covers, and 2 gray adjuster housings. The most common symptoms linked with faulty rack adjusters include: leaking, door latch failure, door not closing, dishes not cleaning properly, and failure to start the washing cycle. The heating element is used to create heat during the dry cycle and increase water temperature during portions of the wash cycle when certain options are selected. The dishrack adjuster arm positioner clip holds the adjuster arm in the right position on the dishrack. The most common reason for replacing the strap is if the rack will not stay in its desired position. This part is sold individually. There are no tools needed to replace the positioner.
