The white door spring link goes between the door spring and the door hinge. This part provides more flexibility for the door spring. If the spring link is damaged or falling off it will need to be replaced. This is a genuine OEM part and made of plastic. It is sold individually.

The dishwasher door gasket provides a water tight seal between the tub and the door, to keep water from leaking out of your dishwasher. If your dishwasher is leaking you may need to replace the door gasket. The door gasket can be installed by simply pressing it into the channel around the door.
