This rear drum bearing kit includes one bearing, one ball shaft, one ball bearing, one ball bearing retainer, a small tube of high temperature lubricant, and installation screws. The support bearing helps support the dryer drum to rotate quietly and smoothly during operation. The bearing attaches on the inside of the rear panel of the dryer cabinet. Over time the drum bearing will wear out. This kit will help keep your dryer running as smoothly as possible with as little noise as possible. This is a genuine OEM part. The white drum glide supports the drum on the front side and helps rotate smoothly and quietly while operating. If your dryer won’t tumble or is noisy, the drum glide may be worn down causing a metal on metal noise. Your dryer requires two glides; it is recommended to replace both glides at the same time. The drum glide is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually. Please remember to disconnect the power to the dryer before starting your repair.

The lower drum felt seal is used to help the drum glide smoothly on the front panel. If your dryer takes too long to dry or is noisy while the dryer drum is spinning, you may need to replace the seal. The seal measures approximately 47” L x 1” W and the adhesive is included. Please disconnect the power to the dryer before beginning the repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

This tub seal helps prevent any leaking around the transmission of your washer. If your washer is leaking you may need to replace the seal. The tub seal is located on the bottom of the outer tub, in the center where the transmission comes through to connect to the agitator. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to shut off the water supply and disconnect the power to the washer before starting your repair.

The drain pump is what your washer uses to remove the water from the tub. The pump helps expel water from the washing machine and is activated after the spin speed is maintained for a specific period. If your washer will not drain, is noisy, leaking, or has a burning smell, you may need to replace the drain pump. This pump has 120 volts, 60 hz and is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to shut off the water supply and disconnect the power to the washer before starting your repair. This part is the pump and motor assembly which includes the red flapper to prevent drain back flow.

The upper spin bearing works in conjunction with your washer. This part is located on the bottom of the outer tub where the transmission goes up through the middle of the tub. The spin bearing is used to support the transmission shaft in the drive system and allows the transmission shaft to be able to spin freely during the spin cycle. When the spin bearing goes bad it can cause noises during the spin cycle and will need to be replaced. This part is made of metal and is secured by mounting screws.
