This 3400-watt bake element has screw style connections. The bake element is located on the bottom of the oven cavity and supplies the heat for baking. If your oven is not heating evenly, element will not heat, or there is little to no heat when baking, you may need to replace the element. When replacing the element make sure to hold the wires forward so the wires do not fall back through the rear of the oven. This is a genuine OEM bake element. The flat-style oven igniter is used to ignite the gas to light the oven burner in your range. If your oven is not heating, check the igniter to make sure it is glowing. If the igniter is glowing and your oven is not heating, your igniter is not strong enough to heat the oven and you will need to replace it. When replacing the igniter, be very careful not to touch the black element part of the igniter as it is very fragile. The part measures approximately 3.72-inch in length and the amperage range is 3.2 to 3.6. This is a genuine OEM part.
