If your trash compactor ram gets stuck or does not stop at the end of the compacting cycle you may need to replace the power nut. The power nut is intended for use with trash compactors. This part is attached to the side of the ram where it is threaded. When the power screw rotates, it is fed through the power nut which pulls the ram down to compress the trash. This power nut is white in color and made from plastic. Please remember to disconnect the power to the trash compactor before starting your repair.

These tough Slip-N-Grip plastic compactor bags are used to hold the trash until you are ready to discard of your waste. The bags will fit most 15" rectangular compactors including Kenmore, Whirlpool, KitchenAid, and Jenn Air. The compactor bags are white in color and twist ties are included. The bags measure 15” wide, 33” high and they come in a pack of 15. This is a genuine OEM part.
