The hardest part of this repair was finding my Torx screwdriver to take the screws out. The old handle had broken and the door wouldn’t close anymore. Turn off the breaker to the machine, undo some screws, remove two connections on the broken latch, and swap in the new piece. Put the screws back in, turn on the breaker, and we were back up and running again. Total time about 15 minutes and the new latch works perfectly. It’s a black latch on a bisque coloured machine (the bisque latch is discontinued) and the colour difference is barely of note.
