Easy Install, Didn't fix problem
Fast delivery, fairly easy part to replace but unfortunately, didn't fix the problem of mid cycle pauses with my Whirlpool Duet washer. The washer itself has been extremely disappointing since the day we purchased it with two under warranty repairs and three post warranty repairs required...one hour wash cycles WITHOUT the constant pauses, which sometimes makes laundry day literally an all day event (typically 4 loads of laundry per week). After reading several online forums, other consumers are/were having similar problems with the same machine. Issue and fix appeared to point to a faulty door latch, so I ordered the replacement part and made the repair, but issue still remains. No more throwing good money after bad...replacing machine with anything but a Whirlpool.
