The large surface element is installed under the cooktop and heats up the area directly above it. It is approximately 10 inches in diameter and is 1200/2500 watts. If your element is not heating up, you may need to replace the element or check the burner switch. This part a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to your range before starting your repair.

Fairly easy repair...product works fast delivery!

Fairly...meaning for myself. The unit has been updated from the old burner. The wiring is slightly different. The jumper on the old was not required as the connector is built in. Confusing at first. The literature could be upgraded to allow less experienced persons to do the repair. There is no need to remove the sensor from one unit to the other. Anyway the unit works as new and we are back cooking!
