The temperature sensor, also known as an oven probe, detects the temperature within the oven cavity. This temperature sensor is 3 inches in length and is a genuine OEM part. If your oven is too hot, not heating evenly, or has little to no heat when baking, you may need to replace the temperature sensor. Please make sure to disconnect the power to your range before starting your repair.

Oven is working fine now.

All parts ordered arrived promptly and work: Electronic control board, temperature sensor, and replacement knobs. Ignitor also ordered and received, but being held in abeyance until needed. Although unsure whether to repair the gas range, a good decision in retrospect. Much less costly than buying a new range.

Easy repair job.

Way to easy to remove the old piece and swap out the new one. However.... It didn't fix my problem. Gas Range Oven won't keep proper heat in oven. Led reads 370 for example the mechanical thermometer reads 325. Only late to drop down to 225. I need another fix. Super. Good Company fast service.
