This genuine replacement water inlet valve with tubing supplies water to the ice maker and water dispenser. The valve is 120 volts and 50/60 Hz. If your ice maker is not making ice or no water is coming from the dispenser, you may need to replace this part. The manufacturer has updated the water inlet valve and it no longer includes the removable pre-filter bracket. If you are unable to reuse the old removable pre-filter bracket, order part number WPW10445062. Please remember to disconnect the water and power supply before starting your repair.

The part came in, very quickly but I still have the same issue. Take water filter out and there's water leaking from the filter holder but water fills at the fridge door. Put filter back in and just a trickle of water, so filter must remain or there is water everywhere. I thought by adding the part the switch valve wouldn't be open to let water out.
