When energized, the water inlet valve will release water from the supply line into the ice mold and the water dispenser in the refrigerator. If the ice maker is not making or dispensing ice, not dispensing water, or leaking, you may need to replace the water inlet valve. The water inlet valve is in the back section of your refrigerator and will need to be pulled out from the wall. Make sure to disconnect both the water and power supply before starting your repair. NOTE: This part may appear different than the original but is an authorized manufacturer replacement.

Part fine - procedure a little trouble

I was originally promised that the part would come from a warehouse close to me (in BC - so Van or Calg) and also be sent by Purolator. The part was sent from Truro and by Can. Post. We have had SO MUCH trouble with Canada Post- SO INEFFICIENT AND SLOW! I called back - the agent listened carefully to the situation and sought a part closer to me - he found one in Van.
