This part is the exterior replacement light bulb, with a small screw base, for your microwave. If your light bulb is burnt out, it will not be able to do this, and will need to be replaced. Before you change the bulb, be sure to check that the light socket still works, as it may need to be replaced as well. This bulb is 40 watts, is sold individually and is a genuine OEM part. Remember to disconnect the microwave from the power source before you begin this repair.

The charcoal filter is used to eliminate odors while cooking from that air that circulates through the vent. The filter measures approximately 5” by 5” and is sold individually. This is a genuine OEM part.

Grease Filter

The grease filter traps the grease particles in the air from cooking. It measures approximately 13 1/2” by 6” and is silver in color. Most microwaves require two filters. This grease filter is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Vent Grille - Black

This black vent grille mounts on the top of the microwave above the door, to protect the components inside the microwave while still allowing airflow through the vent. If the vent grille becomes broken, damaged, or blocked, you may need to replace the grille. This grille is made from plastic and no hardware is included, it is the vent grille only. Please remember to disconnect the power to the microwave before starting your repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

Charcoal Air Filters

This is a package of 2 filters. The charcoal filter is used in microwaves to remove food odors from the air. If your filter is damaged or strong odors are coming from your microwave, it is best to replace this part. The only tool needed for this repair is a Phillips screwdriver. First, remove screws at the top of microwave to access the filter. Next, remove filter and insert new filter by pushing it all the way back, so the edges hit the two tabs. The front edge of the filter should rest at the bottom of the cavity. Make sure to replace the grill after installing the new filter. Remember to unplug your microwave from the power source before the installation process. This part is metallic and measures about 12 inches wide and 6 inches deep.
