The door switch is a simple on/off mechanism that prohibits the dryer from operating when the door is open. The dryer cannot operate until the door switch signals that the door is closed. If your dryer won’t start or the switch shorted out, your washer will not operate and the switch will need to be replaced. This switch is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect power to the dryer before starting the repair.

Idler Pulley Assembly

The idler pulley wheel provides the tension for a multi-ribbed belt and helps the belt to rotate the drum. The drum will not spin if the idler pulley fails to put the correct amount of tension on the belt. The wheel is white in color and is made of plastic. If the drum will not tumble, is noisy, or will not start, you may need to replace this part. This idler pulley is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to your dryer before you start your repair.

Temperature Sensor

The genuine OEM temperature sensor is used in self-cleaning ovens to detect the temperature within the oven cavity. Its 1000 ohm resistance increases with temperature. This sensor is 6 inches in length, has male leads, and comes with ceramic wire nuts. If your oven is too hot, not heating evenly, or has little to no heat when baking, you may need to replace the temperature sensor. Please make sure to disconnect the power to your range before starting your repair.
