This gasket goes on the bottom of the dishwasher door to create a tight seal between the tub and the outer edge of the door. If the gasket is cracked or broken, it will need to be replaced to keep water from leaking out on to the floor. The gasket is approximately 23” long and is a genuine OEM part. It is recommended that once you have installed the gasket to leave the door closed for a few hours to make sure the gasket is properly sealed.

The attaching solenoids on the valve open and close to release the desired amount of water needed in your dishwasher. If your dishwasher is leaking, will not fill with water, is not draining, or not cleaning the dishes properly, you may need to replace the water inlet valve. This valve has 120 volts and 60 Hz. The drain hose connects to the pump located below the lower spray arm. It aids in proper dishwasher drainage by carrying the drain water from the dishwasher drain pump to the kitchen sink drain. The drain hose measures 8 feet long. If your drain hose becomes damaged or cracked it will cause water to leak on the floor and you will need to replace the hose.
