This 6 inch 1200-watt radiant surface element with limiter is located under the main cooktop. When the element is turned on, it will heat up and provide heat to the cooking area on top of the range. If your element will not supply heat you will need to replace it. When replacing the radiant surface element please make sure the element is cool to touch before starting the repair.
