If the element has shorted out, is no longer glowing, or is glowing but only orange or red rather than white, then you will need to replace the oven igniter. When replacing the igniter please be very careful not to touch the gray element part of the igniter as it is very fragile. The igniter measures approximately 3-3/4"in length and the amperage range is 3.3 to 3.6. The kit includes the igniter, 4 wire nuts, insulation, 2 wire assembly and a bracket. This is a genuine OEM part.
