Light bulb - 40w (40 watt clear appliance bulb)

This 40-Watt light bulb is sold individually and is a genuine OEM replacement option for your home appliances. It is specially designed to withstand extreme temperatures, so this bulb is compatible with a variety of appliance types including refrigerators, ranges, microwaves, and dryers. It features a frosted glass bulb with a standard metal socket base, which allows you to easily unscrew the burnt-out light and twist the new bulb into place. This closed-hinged style bottom bake element is located on the bottom of the oven cavity to supply the heat for baking. This bake element has screw-on wire terminals is 18 ¼” wide and 14 ½” deep to mounting flange and the terminal ends extend 2 ½” past the flange. The element is 2300 watts and 20 volts. If your oven is not heating evenly, the element will not heat, or there is little to no heat when baking, you may need to replace the element. This is a genuine OEM bake element. The 8” coil surface burner element is used to supply heat to the top of the range for cooking. This element carries 2350 watts, and due to an update by the manufacturer is now a 5-turn element. If the element is not providing heat, the switch or element might have gone bad and will need to be replaced. You can use a multimeter to test for continuity to see which part is defective. Please make sure the element is cool before replacing it. This is a genuine OEM surface burner element. Disconnect the power to the range or cooktop before starting the repair.

Light cover (lamp cover assembly)

The oven bulb lens cover is made of glass and is approximately 2.75 inches in diameter. The lens cover protects the light bulb from being damaged. If the lens is cracked, damaged, or missing it will need to be replaced. It is suggested to make sure that the lens cover is cool to the touch before you start this repair. To remove the bulb lens cover simply slide the retaining clip off and then remove the lens. Replace it with a new cover and slide the retaining clip back on to hold it into place. This is an OEM part sourced from the manufacturer.
