This thermistor works in conjunction with your air conditioner unit. The thermistor helps monitor the temperature inside of the air conditioner and will send the information to the main control board. If the air conditioner is not cooling, or not maintaining a consistent temperature, you may need to replace this part. Please make sure to disconnect the power to the unit before starting your repair. This is a genuine OEM part.
