The drum support bearing helps your dryer operate as quietly as possible by allowing the front of the drum to glide smoothly on the felt seal of the front panel when the drum is rotating. If your dryer is noisy or making a squeaking sound, the slides are probably worn and both slides will need to be replaced. This part measures 10” in height and 19 ½” inside width. Four drum glides are used with the drum support bearing and are sold separately. The support bearing is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the dryer before starting your repair.

This switch is multi purpose, for a dishwasher the switch is a simple on/off mechanism that prohibits the appliance from operating when the door is open. For a dryer, this switch will let the dryer know if the belt breaks and shut power off to the dryer.
