The temperature sensor, also known as a thermistor, helps detect the temperature inside the refrigerator and sends the information to the control board. This orange rubber bumper prevents the condenser fan motor from bumping against the mounting bracket every time the fan motor starts. You will find it between the fan motor and the side bracket on the evaporator fan motor assembly. It has a rounded top and a slightly pointed bottom.
