This 40-watt light bulb has a standard screw-in base and is used in many different appliances. If your current bulb is burnt out or broken you will need to replace it. This light bulb is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

This is an oven bulb lens cover. It is made of glass and is approximately 3 inches in diameter. The lens cover protects the light bulb from being damaged. The main reason to replace the light lens cover is if it is cracked, damaged, or missing. Make sure the lens cover is cool to the touch before you begin this repair. To remove the lens cover, simply turn it counter clockwise until you can remove it. Replace it with a new cover and turn it clockwise to lock it into place. This is an OEM part sourced from the manufacturer, and it is sold individually.

The door open lever is used to release the door latch when the door release button is pushed. If your microwave door is stuck or won’t open, you may need to replace the lever. This part is black in color, made of plastic and measures 4.5” L x 1.25” W x 1” H. The door open lever is a genuine OEM part.

The oven door light switch is a on an off mechanism that will shut the oven light off when the door is closed or turn on when the door is open. When you open the oven door and the light does not come on, it could be the switch or the light bulb and one of them will need to be replaced. The light switch is black in color, 4 terminal double contact, and measures approximately 2 1/2” in length. Please remember to disconnect the power to the oven before starting the repair.
