This kit is used for many gas clothes dryers. This part ignites the gas within the dryer to heat the dryer during the cycle, so if your dryer takes too long to dry, has no heat or not enough heat, you may need to replace the igniter. Be sure to disconnect the power source from your dryer before you do this repair. The igniter is very fragile and should be handled with care.
