Icemaker control assembly (motor mold)

This part is used to help tell the icemaker what to do - it turns the timing cams and the ejector blades. It also controls the heater, the water inlet valve, the cube size, and cube ejection. The control assembly is located under the white cover of the ice maker. If the ice maker is making too much ice or not making ice at all, you may need to replace the control assembly. The motor is not sold separately. This is a genuine OEM part. Please make sure you disconnect power to the refrigerator before starting your repair.

Ice door kit (door chute)

This ice door is used to seal off the ice chute when not in use. When in use the door will open in the dispenser chute to allow ice to be dispensed. This kit includes the ice door, support, spring, and delay. The heater ribbon is no longer attached. The heater is no longer needed due to an authorized update from the manufacturer. If your ice maker won’t dispense ice or frost build up you may need to replace the part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting your repair.

Ice guide

This ice guide is in the freezer door located in the dispenser section. This part helps the ice be guided from the dispenser to your cup once activated. If the ice maker won’t dispense ice, or the locking tabs are broken on the guide, you may need to replace the ice guide. The ice guide is made of clear plastic and is a genuine OEM part. End cap trim piece (endcap trim)

The end cap trim piece slides into the door trim to help hold the door shelf stay in place. When installing the new end cap trim piece, make sure the two small taps are facing up. This part can be used for the left or right side. The end cap trim piece is white in color, made of plastic and almost 2” long. This is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.
