A door switch is a simple on/off mechanism that prohibits the dryer from operating when the door is open. This is a three terminal door switch.
This switch is located behind the control panel. It allows you to select options for the temperature of the dryer.
With the spring it helps keep the tension in the belt by pulling the idler pulley.
