Lesson learned and safety with tempered glass
Original door glass exploded for what seemed like no reason. Unlike ordinary glass, tempered glass does not crack or chip it explodes when it fails. Luck nobody was hurt but what a mess. Stove was only 1.5 years old. Upon clean-up and examination of the cause it was discovered that the internet is full of stories of these sort of glass doors exploding on all makes and models. I checked the track that the glass sits in and discovered two things. A spare screw had fallen near the spring hinge and was jammed with sharp edge pointing towards glass. Maybe this caused glass to break. Also upon installation of new glass I discovered that the bottom track was quite tight on one side due to the sheet metal being bent too far in. Once in place I could not slide the glass into position from side to side. I bent the track outward and the glass fit well along the entire bottom. This could have caused the glass to bind and put unnecessary force on it to cause it to break. Everyone should check for flaws in the stove and track to make sure the problem isn't repeated with your new glass door. Also check everywhere as the glass pieces seem to be in every small nook and cranny.Time will tell but I think I solved the original cause. Everyone be careful near the stove door. Thanks for the prompt service and great price on the door glass.

Took awhile to get part. Installed with heat resistant putty this way it will not fall out and break again. Looks great!!

Didn't fit. Correct part, but wouldn't install
It came quickly. But it is just a bit larger than the original, by about a few millimeters, so we couldnt install properly. Took it to a glass specialist to see if the glass could be trimmed. No luck. So a waste of money and stove inoperable.
