I ordered a new ESEC-UIB circuit board and a touch panel seal for our Electrolux induction stove which was showing the usual annoying E15 error code. Both items arrived very quickly. The circuit board is quite complex (for a stove!) with lots of surface-mounted components. The seal was slightly larger in cross-section than the original one, suggesting that the original seal had shrunk a little over the eight years we've owned this stove. While waiting for the parts to arrive, I removed the old seal and cleaned the touch panel thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol. Shortly afterwards, the error code disappeared. Suspecting the seal, I decided not to fit the new circuit board just yet. So far, so good - no error messages. In the meantime, I'll keep the circuit board as a spare for future use. So if you have the E15 error code, try replacing the seal first.
