You could have a broken or faulty drawer if you find that the food being kept within is spoiling or drying out quickly. The drawer should slide open and closed with ease. If your drawer will not easily slide open or closed, check the tracks that the drawer slides on. If the tracks are not damaged, the drawer itself could be at fault and should be replaced. The door cam helps keep the door closed in the correct position. The cam is mounted around the door pivot point and is made up of a series of ridges and valleys to help keep the door in position. When you open the door, the cam will raise the door ever so slightly, then drop down into another valley to hold the door open. Then as you close the door again, just before the seal contacts the cabinet, the door will fall into another valley helping to hold the door closed. If your refrigerator uses a door closer, the door should shut all by itself. This part is black in color and made of plastic. This is a genuine OEM part.

The flat style gas oven igniter is used to ignite the gas to light the oven burner, which produces heat for your range. If the element has shorted out, is no longer glowing, or is glowing but only orange or red rather than white, then you will need to replace the oven igniter. When replacing the igniter please be very careful not to touch the gray element part of the igniter as it is very fragile. The igniter measures approximately 3-3/4"in length and the amperage range is 3.3 to 3.6. This igniter kit can replace igniters for either the broil or bake burners and can replace shorter and longer igniters.
