Water fill cup and bearing

The ice maker fill cup and bearing dispenses the water into the ice mold during the fill cycle. If your ice maker isn’t making ice, is leaking, or the cup or bearing is cracked, you will need to replace this part. This part is three inches long, white in color, and is made of plastic. It is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power and water supply to your refrigerator before starting the repair.

Cycling thermostat (use wpl 627985)

The ice maker thermostat, also known as bi-metal device, regulates and controls the activation of the icemaker ejection cycle. The thermostat lets the ice maker know when it is cold enough to produce ice. If your ice maker is not making ice or not dispensing ice, you may need to replace the thermostat. This is a genuine OEM part and comes with two retaining clips. Please remember to disconnect power to your refrigerator before starting your repair.

Evaporator fan motor (use wpl w10255195)

The body of this evaporator fan motor has four wires extending from the body, blue, red, yellow and one white one. This evaporator fan motor is located in the back of the freezer, and circulates air over the refrigerator coils. These coils will convert the heat into cool air, which is then circulated.

Levers retainer/clip

This part is the replacement dispenser lever retainer for your refrigerator. It is made of metal and is approximately 2 inches long and ½ an inch wide. The bottom half of the dispenser lever retainer holds in the pivot points of the ice and water arms. If it breaks, the arms will be loose and can shake around. The top half springs the ice and water arms back into the original position, and if the retainer is broken, they will not be able to do this. The dispenser lever retainer is found behind the dispenser trim and can be removed with a ¼ inch nut driver. This part is sold individually and is an OEM part.

Socket

This light socket is a genuine OEM part for your refrigerator. The light socket powers the bulb that lights your fridge. To repair this part, you will need to remove the screws holding the control panel in place. Pull the panel out and unplug any terminals or wires connected to the socket. Plug the new socket into place, and reattach terminals and wires.

Flipper
