This part is the replacement wave guide cover for your microwave. It is gray in color and is approximately 3 ½ inches long and 5 inches wide. It has two small tabs at the top that allow it to lock into place. The wave guide cover transmits microwave radiation while preventing steam and food particles from interacting with the sensitive electronic components of the microwave. If your wave guide cover is damaged or missing, it will need to be replaced. Be sure to disconnect power from the microwave before you begin this repair.
